I trained as a Graphic Designer and have worked within the industry, mainly in packaging design, but have a life-long interest in everything handmade. I have recently turned to craft full time and work with paper and fabric to produce one-off pieces. I have collected ephemera since I was a child and utilise vintage labels and bits of paper in my pieces. When working with fabric I like to recycle and enjoy the challenge of making something new out of something old. I take inspiration from all aspects of handicraft techniques, traditional and contemporary.

I have three published books, The Perfect Handmade Bag (September 2009), Scandinavian Needlework (February 2010) both published by CICO Books, and Stylish Papercraft (February 2010) published by Hamlyn. I work to commissions and if you are interested please contact me.
